How We Buy
Pooled volume, manufacturer-level contracts, and a monthly audit to prove the price landed. We’re only ever on one side of the table: yours.

From our volume to your invoice
Buying power only matters if it shows up on your invoice. Here’s how ours gets there, in four steps.
01 We pool the volume
Every member’s purchases are bought together with ours, as one group. A single restaurant negotiates alone. Inside MVP, it negotiates with the whole co-op behind it.
02 We negotiate to manufacturer-level pricing
Our purchasing team works contracts back to what the manufacturer charges, then sets an agreed percentage over that cost to get product to your back door. When going direct to the manufacturer wins, we do that too.
03 You go on our national account
Members buy on MVP’s national account number, so you pay what our own restaurants pay. Ketchup at $10 is $10 for you. Same negotiated cost, same freight percentage.
04 We audit every month to prove it landed
Every month we audit the distribution center to confirm you were charged the agreed percentage over manufacturer cost. We check their work, and misses get chased to a credit.
How we partner with our clients
Multi-state franchise groups and single-location independents sit side by side in the same co-op, and every member gets the same relationship.
It starts with your numbers. Before anything is signed, we price what you actually buy and show you the difference side by side. If the math doesn’t win, we part friends.
People, not a ticket queue. You get named people who answer the phone and know your stores, and a portal that shows what they’re working on for you.
We walk the kitchen. We come to your restaurants and look at how product gets used, not just what it costs. Operational advice from people who still run restaurants comes with the relationship.
You never write us a check. The distributor pays MVP, so the only way we grow is by keeping your program worth staying in. Everybody wins.
“There’s always strength in numbers. You can do a lot worse than teaming up with people dealing with the same challenges we are.”
Start with one invoice.
Every member relationship here started the same way: one conversation and one invoice.
